Me too.

L.E.S or Lower East Side, has been home to many ethnical groups and immigrant workers of poor living in Manhattan. It was part of the East Village until the 60's when artists moved there and became independent of LES, being famous for hosting punk movements. Eventually artists and musicians moved down to L.E.S and in 2000 became a "trendy" neighboorhood (like Santigold's L.E.S Artistes).
My likes for this two neighboorhoods and being both my favorite spots in Manhattan, is because it holds a mixture of ghetto and artsy feeling that no other neighboorhood has, and I think you can still smell the history and all the music, art, rock etc... that has flowed to the world from this tiny place. I loved walking trough Alphabet City, Tompkins park and L.E.S, watching models, fashion people, homeless, people from the projects and all of the many vintage stores.

When we thought we've seen enough of the Coppola family, Gia makes her debut.

Granddaughter of Francis, nephew of Roman and Sofia, cousin to Jason Schwartzman and Nicolas Cage and with a really cool name, this 23 year old photographer aims to get behind the lens. For her first video, made for Opening Cerremony but still with a clear student feel, Schartzman and Kirsten Dunst participated. Here's her second video, much more structurated, with beautiful photography and with an improved technical feel.
Having said all that, I guess this girl has a -b.r.i.g.h.t- future ahead.
